Responsible AI Policy
Last updated: October 2025
Company: AccelerAI (a trading name of Digital Angels Ltd, UK)
1. Purpose
At AccelerAI, we believe that artificial intelligence should be used to enhance human capability, not replace responsibility.
This Responsible AI Policy sets out how we design, deploy, and maintain our AI systems in a way that is ethical, transparent, and accountable.
Our goal is simple: to build AI that businesses can trust.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all AI systems, tools, and services developed or deployed by AccelerAI, including proprietary SaaS platforms, custom AI models, and any consulting or automation work we perform for clients.
It covers:
How we collect and process data,
How our AI models are trained and monitored,
How we assess and mitigate potential harms,
And how we handle accountability and transparency.
3. Guiding Principles
a. Fairness and Non-Discrimination
We strive to ensure our AI systems do not create or reinforce bias.
We review training data and outputs for potential discriminatory patterns and avoid data sources likely to encode unfair bias.
b. Transparency
We clearly communicate when AI is used within our products or services.
We explain — in plain terms — what our AI does, what data it uses, and any limitations users should be aware of.
c. Accountability
Human oversight remains central to our process.
AccelerAI employees and clients are responsible for how AI outputs are interpreted and used.
We maintain clear audit trails for model design, data handling, and decision-making.
d. Privacy and Data Protection
We comply with the UK GDPR and ensure all AI data handling aligns with our Privacy Policy.
Personal and client data is only used for purposes explicitly agreed upon, and we never sell or share personal data for advertising or model training without consent.
e. Reliability and Safety
We continuously test and monitor our AI systems for performance, security, and unintended outcomes.
If we identify errors, we act quickly to correct them and update our models accordingly.
f. Human Empowerment
AI should support, not replace, human judgment.
Our tools are designed to enhance productivity and decision-making — not automate away human oversight or accountability.
4. Data and Model Governance
All data used in AI training or operation is reviewed for lawful basis, relevance, and bias risk.
We do not intentionally use personally identifiable information (PII) in training data unless specifically required and consented to.
We maintain clear documentation for how models are trained, tuned, and updated.
Access to AI training data and code is restricted to authorised personnel only.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients using AccelerAI tools or services remain responsible for:
How they interpret and act upon AI-generated outputs.
Ensuring their own compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Avoiding use of AccelerAI products for harmful, discriminatory, or deceptive purposes.
6. Continuous Improvement
We recognise that Responsible AI is an ongoing process — not a fixed standard.
We actively monitor regulatory developments, ethical guidelines, and client feedback to refine this policy and our internal practices.
7. Reporting Concerns
If you believe an AccelerAI product or service may have produced an unfair, unsafe, or biased outcome, please contact us immediately:
Email: ethics@accelerai.ai
We investigate all reports and take appropriate corrective action.
8. Governance and Review
This policy is reviewed annually by the Directors of Digital Angels Ltd or sooner if required by law, technology changes, or emerging ethical standards.
